The inevitable has happened Janet Jackson has split with record label Island Def Jam after 1 Album this year’s Discipline. The news was confirmed by producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jenkins in the video interview below. In recent interviews Janet has been open and honest about her unhappiness with the label and their promotion of the album. The Rock Wit U Tour has so far been very successful and hopefully girl can get signed to another label and churn out a few more hits….
