Okay the best thing about this years hip hop awards were the commercials LOL.. but here's just a quick run through...
Host - T-pain was the host after Katt Williams quit, t-pain was the last min. replacement and he did a good job for someone who found out they were hosting a few hours before show time. His synthesiser skit and his intro to his performance were very memorable.
Performances - T.I.'s performance was off the chain he shared the stage with Ludacris in a joint "Kings of ATL" performance. Common and N.E.R.D. performance was a damn fool... everybody running on stage and moshing.. great energy but I still hate the song. Jezzy, Plies, and Rick Ross were a waste of time. Salt n Pepa, Mc Lyte, & Yo-yo were great & showed they still had it but we really needed EnVouge for "What a Man". Last and Least, Bow Wow and Soulja Boy closed the show and their performance ran beside the credits on half the screen LOL.. thats what he gets... who the hell likes "Marco Polo"?
Extras Points - Ciara looked a hot mess and DJ khaled should have had his own music turned on him... you won...we hear you...
